Map Type: Open World

It is the beginning of space colonization. With a growing earth population and limited resources, humanity has begun to explore the stars for a suitable new home. The search has taken them far into the cosmos... You were selected to investigate the wacky system designated as EPIC 204, a dense cloud of asteroids swirling about a Red Dwarf Star.

You and your trusty AI companion, the Biosuit Mark 12.3b, are charged with observing the system. Your task is to study the environment and catalogue the native life forms, but only a few days into the mission you find yourself stranded in an alien world by a massive meteor shower. To survive and eventually escape, you will need to learn how to survive in a world with rapidly changing seasons, bizarre weather, exotic life... and a dark secret.

Version: Beta 1.12. This is the Final Version and all scenario features are complete other than the ending. Development of this project has concluded due to the Creators no longer having the time to update the map to latest Minecraft versions. You can still play this map as it was originally intended in Minecraft Version 1.12 and there are hundreds of hours of survival and adventure content, we hope you enjoy!
Many of the survival features we experimented with in this version of Minecraft are now official vanilla features, such as Coral reefs, fish, rockets for elytra, recycling, disenchanting, and more! We are super proud to have been a part of developing these ideas in the community before they were officially added by Minecraft.

It is recommended to use a render distance of at least 16, and a render distance of at least 11 is required. Optifine with Dynamic Lights enabled is strongly encouraged.

This map can be played on either Vanilla or Forge. Please do not use a Spigot or CraftBukkit server, which modify how some commands are run. In addition, make sure command blocks, chat, and particles are enabled. You can disable particle weather in the Holodeck if performance is suffering from this last requirement. For best performance, assign 2GB of RAM for singleplayer (assigning more may cause performance to suffer instead!) and 4GB of RAM or more for servers.
